Uniform

Our pupils represent the community and are ambassadors of Newnham St Peter’s Primary School. We want our children to look smart when at school and feel proud to wear their uniform.

We believe that a school uniform will:

• Promote a sense of pride in school

• Engender a sense of community and belonging to school

• Be practical and smart

• Identify children with school

• Prevent children from coming to school in “fashion clothes” that could be distracting or competitive

• Make children feel equal to their peers in terms of appearance

• Be regarded as suitable wear for school and good value by most parents

• Have health and safety in mind.

By choosing Newnham St Peter's Primary School, you also make the choice to abide by all our rules and requests. Children are required to wear school uniform as outlined below (click the image to download a copy). Please make sure that all items are clearly labelled with your child's name. If this is not possible for any reason, please let the Headteacher know.

Uniform with the School Logo can be ordered from School Trends - visit the School Trends website.

Pre-loved Uniform

Our school's PTFA operates a pre-loved school uniform shop, offering a range of items including PE kits, shoes, trainers, and wellies. We are proud to provide this service to support every family, ensuring that affordable uniform options are available to all students. The PTFA is dedicated to fostering a sense of inclusivity and support within our school community, and we believe that access to affordable uniforms plays a key role in achieving this goal.

Proceeds from the pre-loved uniform shop contribute to funding activities and experiences for our students. Connect with us on Facebook at 'Pre-loved uniform - Newnham St Peter's school PTFA' or email us at newnhamptfa@yahoo.co.uk for more details.
